About Dr. Kolotinsky

Dr. Michael Kolotinsky

At the age of 7, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and was abruptly thrown into the world of medicine as a patient. After several conventional medical interventions, I was introduced to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and its valuable role in finding the undying cause of chronic disease.

My early exposure to CAM interventions helped fuel a desire to help others dealing with similar diagnoses. I wanted to share the power of true health and healing that I experienced along my own health journey, so a career as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist allowed me to do just that.

I have a special interest in gastrointestinal disorders, however I have an array of experience treating a variety of conditions. Having been a lifelong patient, I have experience utilizing various CAM interventions to maintain optimal health. I look forward to helping you navigate on your journey back to health.

Training

I am a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Connecticut, and a licensed acupuncturist in both Connecticut and New Jersey. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from SUNY Geneseo. In addition to my education, I completed a pre-med track in preparation for naturopathic medical and acupuncture school. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and from the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute with a Master of Science in Acupuncture. When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, watching stand-up comedy, and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
